		<description>Hello,

Recently I was reading your website and found mention of Fremantle’s Immigration Museum.

The museum is closed. Items from its collection have been returned to their owners and dispersed amongst other museums in WA. For more information on WA’s museums please visit their website here: http://www.museum.wa.gov.au/

The site on the corner of Finnerty and Ord Sts, Fremantle is now entirely occupied by Fremantle Arts Centre.

The heritage of the site is being researched and interpretation plans are underway. The original “Cell”, one of the features of the museum, is still and will remain accessible to visitors. For more information on the site please visit Fremantle Arts Centre’s website here: http://fac.org.au/about/history.aspx

Please remove all references to Fremantle Immigration Museum from your website.

Thank you,
