Kings Park
This is a park that is situated in the west of the central business district of Perth. It is a blend of parklands with very well maintained grasses, botanical gardens and a bushland. Kings park is an expansive park about 1000 acres making it one of the largest parks not just in Perth but in the whole wide world. You will be surprised to find that Kings Park is in fact bigger than New York’s Central Park

Darling Scarp
This was previously known as the Darling Ranges. It is a low lying escarpment that stretches east of the Swan Coastal Plain, north of Bindoon and south of Pemberton. The darling Ranges is one of the most ancient places in the world with granites that are millions of years old.
The Swan River
This is a feature that crawls right through the city of Perth. There are many water spots that are carried out in this river for those that love water sports. Locals and tourists enjoy cruises from the Barrack Square to the city of Fremantle and to the Swan Valley wine region that is in the east. This is an experience of a lifetime that you want to experience when you are in Perth.
Perth Zoo.
The Perth Zoo is located about 5 minutes away from the central business district. There is an entry fee of about $20 for adults and you get to learn and to experience great animals that are in this zoo. The animals are preserved in a environment that is very much close to their natural habitants. Some of the very rare species of animals are also preserved in this zoo. It’s a great hang out place even with the children.
The Perth Mint
This is a place for the lovers of precious metals. A great place to pick a souvenir or get a piece of jewelry or art made of precious metal and made to your specifications. It is well known for creativity and innovation in terms of designs and processes of making pieces of art using the precious metals.
Claisebrook Cove.
This is a place that was created to take advantage of the Swan River as inland as possible. pedestrians are able to see a water front as they enjoy great scenery right outside. A great place to watch the sun set as the you sip a coffee.
The Mundaring Weir
This is another great sight. It is a dam that is a very unique piece of engineering that was completed in 1903. It crosses the Hellena and is a must see place in perth. Many of the pipelines have their source in the Mundaring Wier.
